Bad Drivers

Driving is one of my biggest passions. There is no feeling like blasting down the 404 or 407 at 140km/h. But every so often there will be these people who see fit to clog up all 3 lanes by driving at 100 or below when there are no other cars in front. To all of you who do that, all I have to say to you is "What the hell? There are 3 lanes for a reason, for all you slowpokes out there, drive on the slow lane (thats the one on the right).

This next section pertains only to Asian drivers. For any of you who has been to Pacific Mall will know what I'm Talking about. The people come inches away from hitting pedestrians, honk at each other of parking spaces, and sometimes it even leads to verbal and physical violence. For anyone who has experienced this, my advice to you is to follow the damn rules of parking lot driving. Pedestrians come first, and who ever signals first gets the damn space, PLEASE don't send you wife or husband or child out there to stand on the parking space while you make your way over. This severely pisses people off and is the kind of thing that might get your chalk body outline shown on the 6 o clock news. So please people, getting a parking space should be about proper strategy not dirty tactics.

The last section is about women drivers. I know that dissing women drivers can be viewed by some as "sexist" but coming from a family where women drivers have: backed into cars, rear ended cars at a green light, among many other accidents, it is hard not to disagree with that stereotype. My theory on why women drivers are so bad is because they are so stiff from sitting so straight and close to the steering wheel, that it decreases their reaction time. LADIES, the view is not any better 3 inches closer to the windshield, it is ok to sit back a little bit. There are usually two categories of bad women drivers, the kind that drives super slow and the type that's over aggressive. For the super slow type, my only thing to tell you is that sometimes driving a little faster can be safer. There is nothing wrong with going at or a little over the speed limit. And finally for the over aggressive, chill out, driving overly aggressive does not make you a better driver, and it causes many unnecessary deaths every year, so please tone it down, and we will all be safer on the road.

So my rant on bad drivers is over for now. Hopefully it will make a difference for drivers everywhere.
